Planting; arranging the annual A/C service; swapping batteries; spraying wasp nests; checking that irrigation is working properly; taking the vehicles in for summer tires; making sure the lawn care crew is aerating, fertilizing, and mulching properly; checking downspouts; bush hogging a couple times; uncovering the bees and feeding them; giving the tractor some grease; weeding; cleaning out drains.

Plant mums; checking all wood stoves; stuffing cotton wool where mice might enter; taking the vehicles in for snow tires; arranging gutter cleaning; giving a final bush hog; harvesting the bees and covering the hives; weeding.
Shoveling snow to the doors; plowing snow with the tractor; checking fence posts; watering some trees once a month; doing interior maintenance; outside tasks on warmer days.
We chose this location specifically to be close to town and a world away. It’s a quick drive to Longmont, Boulder and all of the northern Denver metro.

Our busy beehives have produced honey for the last 5 years. There is ample space for gardening and growing a myriad of delicious fruits and vegetables. We guarantee your knowledge and nurturing will literally “bear fruit” and if you’re into composting, we highly encourage you to “dig in”.
Along with bees and farming, we are looking for the right people to help maintain the buildings and grounds, a zen garden, trees, and our happy barn cats. The right people are very capable in working outdoors, and self-motivated. You love the land and connecting with possibilities. You are grounded and looking for a place to grow, and this challenge excites you.
You will have access to our farm truck and small tractor, along with the responsibility of regular maintenance. The tractor will help you in a myriad of activities like bush-hogging, snow removal, and moving heavier items in farm cleanup.
We are looking for two Part-Time Farm Managers. This is vigorous and rewarding work. There is nothing better than eating fresh food from the garden or relaxing in the beauty that simply exists around you here on the farm. The ability to lift 80 lbs and move it around is required as is being authorized to work in the U.S. As you’ll be living and working here on our property, we also need to be able to converse, so fluent English speakers only, please.

• Improve and maintain 4.6 acres of beauty, vitality and abundance.
• Keep it organized: Sort, straighten, shine, standardize and sustain.
• Care of bees and barn cats.
• Land maintenance including irrigation, weed control, mulch spreading.
• Maintenance of gardens and structures.
• Maintenance of paths, labyrinth, patios, driveways and parking areas. Including snow removal.
• Bush hog, trim, whack and pull weeds.
• Light construction and maintenance in and around all dwellings and buildings. Examples: siding repair, paver installation, paint touch-ups, cosmetic repairs, etc.
• Repair tractor, implements, power tools, machinery and other tools.
• Pest control, large and small.
• Gutter cleaning, such as after windstorms.
• Tree pruning, such as after windstorms.
• Assist with preparation and parking for outdoor business and events.
• Clean up after the ditch company, such as limbs and dirt piles.
• Maintain the farm truck, and other vehicles: cleaning, oil, tires, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
You must be authorized to work in the US. You must speak English fluently. You must be able to lift 80lbs and carry it 100 ft. You must work more hours as required by growing seasons.
